The EMDI Event Design program incorporates online classes and hands-on, in-class workshop established to teach students a wide range of event design techniques and topics. Our program offers you systematic and expository training in event design(s) that affords you a comprehensive training curriculum in special event creation and its execution, together with the necessities: site, design, production and execution strategies. It is quintessential because it covers all elements of designing an event as outlined in the units below.

Students who partake in this course have either experienced a wedding or event planning and want to learn the design aspect so they can give their client(s) a full experience. It does not only allow them to meticulously plan the elements but it also gives the capacity to design the overall concept using tools such as inspiration boards, design software and much more.

Our intensive program is exclusively taught by industry leading professionals to ensure a thorough understanding of our curriculum. They are committed to providing the basic knowledge, techniques, and confidence that allow you to attain the excellent professional career you desire.

Only at the Event Management and Design Institute can you learn the hands-on skills of fabric draping, props, lighting, centerpieces, floral among others. And by utilizing your artistic skills in accordance with our high-aesthetic training and impeccable standards, you will be able to majestically meet the various custom specifications of your clients.

Our online training program consists of lectures, video demonstration, hands-on projects and reading assignment which you will photograph and return to us for critique, evaluation, and suggestions, an additional training exercises and study quiz. All important tools, event design kits and non-perishable design materials will be provided and shipped to you. With our advice and direction, you will buy the perishable design materials required for the completion of your exercises. Particularly, your assigned mentor is always available by e-mail or phone to answer any of your questions. Your mentor will guide and assist you as you advance through each lesson.

In addition to the online training, students will have the privilege to take part in a workshop. Class size is kept to a minimum for ideal learning environment in which you will have the opportunity to relate closely with the course instructor. Part-7 INTERACTIVE 2 WEEKS LIVE DECORATING DEMONSTRATIONS

The demonstrations take place at the location of your choice via live, interactive, online video sessions. The instructor and the students can see, hear, and speak with each other via video conference. Due to advanced technology, the video lessons often allow demonstrations unavailable in traditional classrooms. The instructor has the ability to share their desktop applications (PowerPoint slides, graphics, animation, audio, video, documents, spreadsheets, or any other electronic media) and use a remote pointer to highlight areas of interest on your PC to make learning a truly interactive experience.

Part-8 2 DAYS HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

After finishing the seventh part of the program, the student will arrange a time to participate in the hands-on workshop. Workshops are held both in-person and online. Students may select from the following areas to attend:

For students who are unable to attend any of the above areas, they may sign up for a web-based workshop. Web-based workshops cover the same material as in-person workshops. Individuals choosing the web-based orientation must have a working computer, high-speed internet connection for video conferencing and document sharing, and access to a telephone line or cell phone for the audio portion of the workshop.

PROGRAM LENGTH

It is a self-paced program. It depends on your schedule and how much time you have to devote to it. Therefore, you can complete the program as fast as you like, or give yourself up to 12 months to complete it. The majority of students work full-time while taking the class and can easily accommodate the course workload.

Not only can you complete it at anytime but you can do it anyplace and anywhere in the world with a laptop, tablet, or smart phone and an internet connection. Our online certification program provides the flexibility you need to complete the course as your schedule permits.
